GPS Tracking Device
A GPS tracking device is generally a small-sized data logger, which can be used to determine the device’s exact location within a few feet. GPS tracking systems are linked to satellites orbiting the Earth that act as signal receivers and are able to convey the device’s position to a home station. Current GPS trackers available on the market work in tandem with mapping software that enables the user to monitor the position of the tracked object either in real-time or as a historical trackback.
GPS tracking devices can be used for multiple purposes such as fleet or vehicle tracking, cargo and container tracking, asset tracking, personal tracking, law enforcement tracking and more.
